Whitmore Park is another South neighborhood that is also close to the University of Regina and the Saskatchewan Polytecnic (Formerly S.I.A.S.T.).  Features of this area are the Massey Outdoor pool and the Murray Balfour indoor arena.  There are several parks in the area with multiple walking paths, ball diamonds, play structures, tennis courts, basketball courts, and outdoor rinks.  There are multiple businesses, hotels, restaurants and more especially along Albert Street South.  You will also find a community garden in the area.
