Westhill is located in the West end of Regina.  It is bordered on the North side by 9th Avenue North and on the East side by Courtney Street.  On the West side, Westhill meets the Edgewater neighbourhood just across North Thauberger Road, and on the South side, it is bordered by the Fairways West Neighbourhood across the storm channel and also by the beautiful Joanne Goulet 18 hole municipal golf course.  This neighbourhood was first approved as a Regina subdivision in 1983 and is sometimes referred to as part of the Prairie View area of West Regina.  Most of the construction here occurred in the 1980’s and into the 1990’s with only a few homes being completed after 2000.  Most common home styles are bungalow and 2-story with a scattering of split level and bi-level homes as well.  Westhill is a purely residential neighbourhood with a hand-full of home-based businesses but no dedicated commercial areas.  Westhill Park Baptist Church, Happy Hearts Pre-School, and Westhill Manor Care Home are also located near the centre of the neighbourhood.   There are 3 great parks that have walking paths, play structures, outdoor rinks and a basketball court.  There are currently not any schools inside the neighbourhood boundaries.  Elementary students are inside the Ruth M. Buck boundaries for public school and St. Josephat for Catholic School as well as Ecole Centenial School for French Immersion students.  High schools for the area are Martin Collegiate (public) and Michael A. Riffel  (Catholic)
